70,000 Danish teachers locked out
By Helmut Arens and Christoph Dreier
In a historically unprecedented act, the Danish government has locked out 70,000 high school teachers for more than three weeks. The lockout means that the teachers have been without pay for this period, and the education and care of nearly 800,000 school students have been severely jeopardised.

Immigrant Workers – The Most Exploited Workers in Society
1 September 2013, by Robert ParisImmigrant Workers – The Most Exploited Workers in Society

And so far this year, the budget voted on looks a lot like the previous budgets – with huge handouts to corporations and the super rich and (...) -
Revolution, Jack London
2 October 2013, by Robert ParisI received a letter the other day. It was from a man in Arizona. It began, "Dear Comrade." It ended, "Yours for the Revolution." I replied to the letter, and my letter began, "Dear Comrade." It ended, "Yours for the Revolution." In the United States there are 400,000 men, of men and women nearly 1,000,000, who begin their letters "Dear Comrade," and end them "Yours for the Revolution." In Germany there are 3,000,000 men who begin their letters " Dear Comrade " and end them "Yours for the (...)
